How do we sign up for and share an affiliate link? This is part of what I do in my own business. I also set up affiliate marketing for corporations, influencers, celebrities, and not-for-profits all over the world. At Affiliate Marketing University I teach you guys how to do it on your own.
The first thing there needs to be is a process to determine what affiliate links are best for you to share. You can learn more about that in my FREE affiliate marketing master class here. When you’re searching for affiliate opportunities you simply search the name of the company and or product you’re interested in sharing and add the words affiliate program to your search. If they have an affiliate program, you apply to be an affiliate. Now – they can ask a ton of questions, and this is where a lot of people get overwhelmed.
The company is simply trying to filter out spammers. Just keep going through the application and answer each question honestly. You won’t be approved for every program – heck I’m not approved for every program – but you will find some great opportunities to share. I walk you through that in the short video at the top of this blog.
Once you’ve been approved as an affiliate the company will share graphics and content for you to use. It’s really important that what you share serves your audience. It’s equally important that you use your own voice when you share.
