What will it take to survive what’s coming? One thing I say we need is tenacity. What does tenacity look like? I wanted to share a story that shows just how powerful tenacity can be. As you read this, I want you to ask yourself – would I have done that – would I have been so tenacious?

Picture this, it was a Friday, and I was taking the virtual real estate exam. I followed very strict rules. If you’ve never taken a proctored exam before you are being watched by someone on the web to make sure you follow every rule.
The test has 100 questions and I’m on number 77 when suddenly the whole system shuts down. The webcam turns off like I’m done with the test – but I’m not. So, I call customer support, and they tell me that it looks like I’m still taking the test. I wouldn’t be on the phone with customer support if I was still taking the test. So, I bet you know what happens next. They have to submit a ticket.
Anybody that’s ever heard that knows how that feels. All I could think was oh my word – not a ticket. They told me I would have to wait three to five business days to retake the test. If you’ve ever studied for a big test, you know it feels like everything is in your head that minute. The last thing you want to do is wait days to take the test again. I knew I had to find a way to take that test as soon as possible. I almost left the building but then I thought no way. God has put me here for a reason and I’m going to dig deep and make this happen. That’s exactly what I did. I found a way to take the test in person the very next day and I passed. I was tenacious.
